Overview

Customised Rolling Mill Solutions (CRMS) was a freelance full-stack web development project undertaken during my fourth year of engineering. The project involved redesigning and modernizing the company's existing web platform to improve usability, scalability, and long-term maintainability while delivering a faster and more reliable user experience.

Working as part of an 8-member development team, I contributed across both the frontend and backend, helping build a modern web application using React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and PostgreSQL. The project focused on replacing outdated development practices with a scalable architecture capable of supporting future business growth and operational requirements.

Throughout the development lifecycle, emphasis was placed on clean code, reusable components, structured REST APIs, performance optimization, and collaborative software development using Git.
